Inspiration comes from my feelings and emotions and that is what I want to express through forms, shapes and strong contrast of colours. Capturing the light is essential and the 3-dimensionsional nature of my work is key to this. Light affects how the artwork is displayed, creating shades and highlights that inevitably change depending on the time of the day, where the sun is located at any given moment or the artificial light fitted in a room.
I use a variety of materials such as acrylic, glass and resin. My main and favourite choice though is wood, which, with its natural imperfections, adds character and texture to my work.
